Develop an end-to-end web-based B2C application suite consisting of the following components: catalog builder, order management, shipping & tracking, inventory, shopping cart, accounting, and CRM.

  • Must be proficient in Perl, Oracle/SQL, Javascript, HTML & Unix.
  • Working knowledge of interface design concepts.
  • Ability to model business data.
  • Understanding of software development life cycles.
  • Understanding of browser compatibility issues.
  • Experience in Java, C/C++, XML, DHTML a plus.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles a plus.

Work with web developers to design and implement front-end interface of a web-based application suite and maintain existing company websites as necessary.

  • Experience in art and web design.

Process online, phone and mail-in orders. Initiate contact with customers for any order-related issues and resolve any problems as necessary.

  • Experience working with MS Word, Excel, Internet browser and web-based applications.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to handle phone calls and communicate with customers in various levels.

Responsible for preparing and packaging orders, applying postage and making sure all outgoing packages are professionally packaged, correctly addressed, have enough postage and any accompanying documentation. Maintain inventory and alert order processors and Operations Manager of any inventory running low.

  • Responsible for processing returned merchandise and record any information into our backoffice system.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory of packaging supplies and alert Operation Manager to re-fill supplies as necessary.
  • Responsible for receiving and signing shipments from UPS and other carriers and reconciling packaging slips with existing P.Os.
  • Responsible for keeping the warehouse organized.

  • Very organized, attentive to details, team-oriented and common-sense minded.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadline.
  • Knowledge of anime merchandise a plus.
